Just thought I would share a link to a survey conducted by Mikayla Carroll. She is writing a dissertation about how the experience of growing up as a Third Culture Kid affects educational choices and career aspirations.
The survey is anonymous and only takes about 15 minutes to complete. The criteria for participating in the survey is that you have spent a significant (minimum of 5 years) of your childhood (between 6-18 years of age) in a country different to your parent’s home country. You must also be over 18 years old.
The survey is conducted with the authorisation of the University of Waikato and findings may be used in various presentations as well as journal articles. The identities of participants will remain anonymous if findings are published. Clicking the submit button at the end of the survey, will be interpreted as informed consent. Participants are allowed to withdraw at any point before submitting answers and have the right to refuse to answer certain questions if they wish to do so.
The research involves two aspects of collecting information.
- Anonymous survey (Closes 20th August 2018)
- Written interview (conducted via google doc). For more details on the written interview click here.
